Cousins

Elliot and Whitney sure love their cousin. We went over on Saturday to visit and they just couldn't get enough of Iona. I didn't get any real good pictures of Iona (sorry mom). Next time we see them I will try and get better ones of her. She is a cutie. She has lots of wild hair!

Gavin's 10!

Last weekend we went to Fargo for Gavin's 10th birthday. It is hard to believe he is already 10! He had his party at a hotel. The kids had lots of fun swimming. Whitney even found a new friend. She really took a liking to Gavin's cousin Cassidy. I think the feeling was mutual! Elliot really enjoyed the cholcolate cupcakes!

Our Big Girl

Whitney has hit some big milestones this past month. She is now in a big girl bed! She loves her new bed. I wasn't quite ready for her to transition from her crib to a bed, but she was. She is doing great with it though and when it is time for her to nap or go to bed she stays in her bed. This is much different from her brother!















































The other milestone is wearing big girl underwear. Whitney has pretty much potty trained herself. It has been extremly easy. She does still have some accidents, but overall is doing very well. Here she is showing off her favorite pair of underwear, her "Diego's". In Whitney's world Dora is Diego.

My posts are still coming out a little funky for some reason. I can't center my pictures and I can't type anything above the pictures. Oh well, at least I have picutres! We have been low key the last 2 weeks because of several different illnesses going through our house. It started with a stomach bug that both Whitney and I got, then Elliot ran a fever for about 3 days, and then I got the Influenza. It really wiped me out! I am hopeful that we are all on the mends and are going to be healthy for awhile. The follwoing pictures are just some random picutres that I did manage to take these past 2 weeks.

Elliot had beach day at preschool one day last week. He looked kind of goofy with his warm clothes underneath. We all know what the weather has been like in MN and he would have frozen if Iwould have just let him wear his swimsuit!

Whitney is such a girl, but yet has to do just what her brother is doing! Yes she has to wear her tutu to play trucks!
