I Love My New Toys

Elliot got lots of great things for his birthday! Here are a few pictures of him playing with some of his new toys.
Elliot is really into cooking right now so Grant and I and Jenny and James gave him cooking stuff for his birthday. He absolutely loves it!
Here he is showing off his new hat and apron set.

Elliot also loves trains. Thanks to Grandma Peg and Grandpa Todd he got a Thomas the Train set. He loves to sit and watch the train go around the track. He also likes to make it go faster by pushing it himself around the track!

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Lorelei gave him this backpack with wheels. He spends a lot of time running from one end of the house to the other wheeling his backpack!
I don't have pictures of him in his new Twins hoodie that Jed, Becky, and Jack got him but he also loves that. We are hoping to take him to a Twins game this summer sporting his new Twins wear. He also got a new pair of shoes from Jennifer, Chuck, and Ilana that came in the mail yesterday. He had to put them on immediately and didn't take them off until bedtime. Thanks everyone for thinking of Elliot on his birthday!

I will leave you with a random picture, but thought it was post worthy! Elliot came out of his bedroom riding his lawn mower and wearing this hood. Of course I had to take a picture of our goofy little boy!

Elliot turned 2!!!

It is hard to believe but Elliot is 2 already!!! Those 2 years have gone by so fast. On Saturday we had a birthday party for him. He had a great day!!! It was beautiful outside so the kids were able to play outside while the adults enjoyed the nice weather on the deck.

Instead of ordering a cake Jenny offered to make one. We decided to have mud pie. It was the birhday tradition at the Wolff (Jenny's house) household and I always enjoyed getting in on this tradition. It is very yummy. We attempted to use icing gel to write hapy birthday, but it didn't turn out the best. Oh well, the cake was very YUMMY!! I think Elliot would agree.

Singing Happy Birthday

Opening presents .............this was a long process because Elliot wanted to play with every toy he opened!
Enjoying the warm weather
Last weekend Gavin got this soccer ball for his birthday. Elliot loves kicking it around. Becky and him were playing with the ball and stopped for a quick picture!

Playing in the park

Pushing Ilana around in his car.

Ryan and Jenny

I will leave you with a picture of Whitney in her party dress............... she looked so cute!!

Stay tuned for pictures of Elliot enjoying all his birthday toys!

Our week with Jenny and James

Jenny and James came to visit. They were here for a whole week and boy did we ever have a great time. It was wonderful having them here!!! We played, shopped, and did lots of visiting.

A picture of all 3 kids playing with the baby gym

Whitney and James chilling together. We did not plan the outfits, but boy did we get lucky on them mathcing so well!

We attempted to get a posed picture of all 3 kids and this is what we got, not the best. Elliot was such a helper when it came to taking pictures. He was always willing to hold the babies and do his best at keeping them happy. At this time know matter what we did Whitney was not going to be happy!

Elliot enjoed sharing the bath with James. It was great practice for when Whitney is ready to take baths with him.
We also went swimming while Jenny and James were here. It was James and Whitney's first swimming experiences. James was unsure of the water at first, but after a 1/2 hour of sitting on the sidelines he got in. Whitney loved the water, but got cold quickly.
Elliot loves to be dunked under the water. This is a picture right after being dunked!
Hanging out on the sidelines all wrapped up in their towels

Jenny, James, Whitney, and I also went shopping while they were here. In the picture below both of them slept while Jenny and I bought clothes for them. We ran into some killer deals at the Children's Place. You can never beat the $1.99 and $2.99 racks!!!

St. Patrick's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day!! We had a great day. Jenny and James were here and then Ryan and our friends Jed, Becky, and Jack all came over for corn beef and cabbage. Here are some pictures of the kids sporting their St. Patty's Day shirts.

We did our best to get a good picture of all 4 kids and this is what we got. James is in the striped shirt on the left and Jack is the little boy that is attacking Whitney. For some reason his mouth always goes right for her head.

3 Months Old

I know I just posted Whitney's 2 month bear pictures, but now it is time for the 3 month pictures. Whitney turned 3 months this past Tuesday. You will notice that she has one sock on ad one sock off. I couldn't keep the one sock on for the life of me!

Visit with Grandma Peg and Grandpa Todd

As promised here are some pictures of our trip to MT and ND. This first post is pictures of our time in MT and the second post is pictures from ND.

This picture is of the kids on the train. We had a sleeper which was very nice. It helped me keep Elliot contained!! I would have liked to have gotten some more pictures of our train adventure but my battery went dead.

Here are some pictures of Elliot at Grandma Peg's and Grandpa Todd's. Most of the time we were there it was nice outside, so he enjoyed spending some time out doors.

My parents have lots of bunnies at their house and Elliot loved watching them from the window. This was his favorite spot to sit and watch for the bunnies.
Eating Grandma's yummy bars with Grandpa

The next 3 pictures are of Elliot and Grandma doing different projects together.

Setting the table
Making pancakes

Glueing box tops

Now it is Whitney's turn. She had lots of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's too! Some of her favorite acitivites were sitting up on the couch, taking baths, hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, and playing with the toy Grandma had for her.

Visit with Grandma and Grandpa Sala

Before heading back to MN we alo spent some time in Williston. Grant and Gavin picked the kids and I up in Circle and then we all went to Williston for 4 days. Here are some pictures from our visit. We were lucky enough to be able to spend time with Great Grandma Mildred. She has moved to an apartment in Williston, so we went over to see her several times. There also was a lot of snow in Williston. Gavin enjoyed playing in the back yard.
