First Hair Cut

Whitney got her hair cut today and is now sporting the bob look. She has needed one for awhile now, but I have been dragging my feet. They always lose that baby look after their first hair cut and I am not ready to lose my baby yet. Now that it is cut I absolutely love it and wish I would have gotten done it before the holidays, but oh well! She sat so nicely and was so proud to be up in the chair.
One last shot before the cutting began She loved having her hair sprayed!

Playing with the clip was lots of fun

Elliot also got his hair cut today and wanted to show it off. He thought I needed to take a side view picture and wouldn't let me get a picture of him head on.

The kids got lots of fun toys to play with.
One of Elliot's favorites was his ride on excavator that Grandpa Todd and Grandma Peg got for him.
He also got a new Lightening McQueen blow up bed.

Whitney with her new baby and baby stroller. She walks all over the place with her stroller.
Showing off her new hunting bibs and hat that Grandpa and Grandma Sala bought for her.

Present Opening

We had Christmas with my parents, my grandparents, my in-laws, and Ryan and Lorelei at the lake this year. We had lots of fun visiting, playing games, playing out in the snow and watching the kids enjoy the season of Christmas!

Christmas Tree Tradition

When Gavin was almost 3 my mom started making edible Christmas tree's with him. This has now become a tradition for the kids and grandma.
It works better to frost the tree when you have your tongue sticking out!

Cookie Making

Elliot really got into making Christmas cookies this year. Grant, Elliot, and I spent one morning making cookies together.
Mommy and Elliot getting ready
Mixing up the cookies
Daddy and Elliot putting the cookies on the tray
We also went over to Auntie Lorelei's to help make cookies. Aunt Lorelei invited us, my cousin Jennifer and her daughter Ilana, and Becky and Jack over to decorate sugar cookies.

Elliot loved putting flour on the dough
Cutting out the cookies
Now onto icing the cookies

Jack's favorite part was licking the frosting!

The Birthday Girl!!

We celebrated Whitney's birthday on her actual day. Ryan and Lorelei and Becky and Jack came over for dinner, present opening, and cake. It wasn't a super big party, but she seemed to enjoy her day. With her birthday being so close to Christmas it was hard to get all of the family together to celebrate. It was still a very special day for her.

Jack and Elliot were getting antsy for cake so Grant tied them over with a cookie while they waited.
Of course Elliot had to help with opening the gifts. He was so cute about it though. He made sure she saw what she got and then asked her if she liked it.
Whitney's first baby doll. She loves her baby!!
Whitney loved her candle
And her cake!!! She woke up around 2:00 in the moring and was up for about an hour. Pretty sure she had a sugar high!
