Elliot started walking about 2 weeks ago. He still resorts to crawling quite a bit, but he keeps getting better and better with the walking everyday. He is always so proud of himself when he walks. However, his favorite mode of transportation is the crab walk. He looks so goofy when he does this.

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa
Grandma Peg and Grandpa Todd came to visit on June 3rd. My dad stayed through the week and my mom is still here. Elliot and I just took her over to my grandma and grandpa Lindahls today. She will be there until Saturday and then she heads home. Everyone that knows my mom knows that she loves to take picutres. The next few postings are from pictures that have been taken since she has been here. We have had lots of fun spending time with grandma and visiting all the relatives.
Babysitting
My parent's got here during my last week of teaching, so they watched Elliot the last 3 days. My mom, Ryan, and Lorelei also took Elliot for Grant and I on Friday and Saturday. On Friday Grant and I took a cooking class. We went to a lobster boil. It was lots of fun and the food was wonderful. On Saturday we went to a 30th birthday party. They sure kept Elliot busy and it looks like they had fun!!!
On Saturday Ryan, Lorelei, my mom, and Elliot went boating.
Elliot's favorite thing to do on the boat is to drive.
It was Buffalo Day's this weekend, so on Friday Ryan, Lorelei, my mom, and Elliot went to the park to watch fireworks.

Visiting the Great-Grandparents
We did lots of visiting while my parents were here. We went to both sets of great-grandparents house and spent time at Ryan and Lorelei's.
Gavin and Elliot playing together
Aunt Lorelei bought this shirt for Elliot, so we had to get a picture of the 2 of them together.
At my grandma and grandpa Whitney's house Gavin and Elliot enjoyed feeding corn to the ducks down at the pond.

Memorial Day Weekend
Doug and Mavis came to visit us over Memorial Day Weekend. It was a nice weekend, so we spent time outside, went to the farmers markets in Minneapolis, and barbequed.
Elliot helping Grandma Sala and I shuck corn (I think he ate more then helped).
Elliot enjoyed being pulled in the wagon by Grandpa Sala.

Storm
Over Memorial Day weekend we got hit by a bad hail storm. We had golf ball size hail come through. I had never seen hail so large before. The hail did a number on our roof and siding. I am excited about getting the siding replaced (because I hate the color), but we had just gotten our roof replaced a week and 1/2 before the storm hit. We also got a broken window. I consider ourselves lucky though, that same night Hugo, MN was hit by a tornado and over 50 homes were destroyed. Here are a few pictures from after the storm.
