My Hospital Stay

This board was suppose to be for the nurses, but we had several people (Daddy, Uncle Ryan, Gavin, and Great Grandpa Lindahl) who decided to add to it. I am sure most of you can figure out who wrote what.

Can we go home yet?

Whitney Abigail Sala

It's a girl! Whitney Abigail was born Wednesday, Dec. 10th at 11:30 PM. She came very quick. We got to the hospital at 11:10 and she was born at 11:30. She weighed 7lbs. 4 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long. We are all doing well and are blessed to have a baby girl added to our family! We are excited for her big brothers to meet her. Elliot is coming later this afternoon and Gavin will be here tomorrow morning.

Daddy bought her this outfit this morning, so she had to show it off to everyone!

New Table

Doug and Mavis gave us our Christmas present early this year. We finally got a new table. Our old table was a table that Grant brought with him to the marriage. I have not been a fan of that table since day one. So thank you Doug and Mavis for the wonderful gift, I love our new table!!!

Elliot enjoyed the box that the chairs came in

Wake up dad!

Grant putting together the chairs, but not with out some help from his little helper
Here is the wonderful table!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Grant and I had Thanksgiving at our house this year. It was a wonderful day of visiting and eating. Doug and Mavis came for the weekend. Along with Grant's parents, my Grandma and Grandpa Lindahl, Uncle Tom, Ryan and Lorelei, and Grant's cousin and family (Todd, Gina, Mitchell, and Ethan) all came over. We had a great day and thanks to Grant for the wonderful meal! I am thankful for a husband that is a wonderful cook.

Ethan

This is me at 37 weeks. Lorelei took this same picture of me at 37 weeks when I was pregnant with Elliot. When we compared the 2 pictures we think I am smaller this time around. I had to lean back much further to keep the glass on my belly this time.
Elliot sporting his new cozy sweat outfit that Grandma Sala bought for him. I was a little jeaoulus that day. I wished I had an outfit like that. He looked so cozy and warm.

This post is for Todd and Peg

Happy Halloween!

We went Trick or Treating twice this year. Last Saturday while we had Gavin we went to Buffalo and Trick or Treated at the shops around town . Then last night we took Elliot to a couple of places. Gavin was the Grim Reaper and Elliot was a lion.

Tell us how you really feel about your costume Elliot!!

Gavin and Elliot in Buffalo. Gavin and Elliot were quite the pair in their costumes. We went from scary to cute!Elliot at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Lorelei's with Cliffy and Higgins. The dogs had little Halloween shirts that lit up.
Elliot was done posing until Aunt Lorelei put a piece of candy in his hands. Then he was good to go again.
Ryan, Lorelei, and the dogs

After we left Ryan and Lorelei's we met up with out friends Jed and Becky and their little boy Jack. Jack was a chili pepper for Halloween.

Its Pumpking Carving Time!

After picking the perfect pumpkins out from the pumpkin patch we had to carve them. We did our carvings in 2 shifts. The first night of carving Elliot got to tired and ended up going to bed right before we were going to start, so we carved pumpkins with Gavin and then a different night carved Elliot's pumpkin.

Grant decided to paint a face this year instead of carving his pumpkin.

Gavin digging the guts out of his pumpkin

Gavin showcasing the pumpkins. He was trying to make his own Jack-O-Lantern face with his missing teeth. I would say it looks pretty good!!

Now it's Elliot's turn!
Daddy drawing the face on his pumpkin.
Elliot needed a turn at drawing on the pumpkin too!
Elliot was not to sure about the next stage of pumpkin carving. The next few pictures show Elliot getting braver and braver. First he needed to check it out from the sidlines. Then he sat on daddy's lap and put one finger on the pumpkin

He is getting closer, but still thinks daddy needs to be the one digging out the goop.

Finally he goes in for a dig!!!

Elliot's favorite part of the pumpkins was after they were carved and we lit them. He sat and looked in the pumpkins for a good 20 to 30 minutes.
